The Distress of Sleepless Hours

Restlessness can ensnare you like a vice during the night. Every sound becomes amplified, every shadow takes on a threatening form. When Darkness Brings No Comfort

We long for an/a/some escape, a place/safety/shelter where the pain/suffering/anguish can fade/disappear/evaporate, but often/always/sometimes the darkness persists/holds tight/remains. It's in these moments of isolation that we must find/create/forge our own/internal/personal light/strength/will. We must face/confront/stand against the emptiness/void/terror, and discover/remember/unearth the powerful spirit that lies within/deep inside/at our core.

An Heavy Blanket of Insomnia

Insomnia often feels like heavy weight upon your mind and body. You toss and turn, yearning for sleep as you struggle. The hours crawl by, each one an eternity filled with anxieties and exhaustion. This pervasive state of wakefulness transforms you into a prisoner in your own bed.

Yearning for Sweet Oblivion

The clutch of oblivion was a siren's call, a whispered promise of rest. To succumb in its embrace was to silence the incessant chant of existence. The reality's sharp edges blurred under the spell of its sweetness.

To truly desire oblivion was to plead for a fleeting respite from the weight of being.
